Council Celebrates Founders Day

The Hamilton County PTA Council celebrated Founders Day on Wednesday, February 3 at the Outback Steakhouse.

Past presidents of the PTA Council were recognized. All of the past presidents shared insights as PTA volunteers and leaders.

Jane Whited, First Vice President of the Council, was honored with the highest honor from the Tennessee PTA--the Lifetime Achievement Award.

From the Founders Day program handout:
"Today we gather to honor all of those who have gone before us and forged the way for us to be able to be part of such an honorable organization. We would like to take this opportunity to extend a special welcome to all of our past presidents here today and to let you know that without you none of this would be possible."
